May 8th marked the 4th year that Cody and I have been married! For our anniversary Cody planned a little weekend - one night - get away and wouldn't tell me what we were doing. It was the first time we have left Gage overnight and therefore felt we needed to keep it short. Anyhow, I was going crazy trying to figure out what we were going to be doing and I'm happy to say that it was a BLAST! He was very thoughtful in his planning. When we were dating, I was living in Price going to college at CEU. Well, he came up on a Tuesday while I was on my way to cheer practice and grabbed me and took me to a place called "The Wedge" also known as the "San Rafael Swell". He proposed to me there and it was really cool. So, anyway for his trip we went down there four wheeling and had a picnic at the Swell and went to see Indian Petrogilfs and Pictographs. Not sure if I spelled those correctly or not...sorry if not. Anyway, it was SO MUCH FUN! We stayed at a bed and breakfast called Castle Valley Outdoors and it was super nice. It was closed in and they had elk wandering around and pheasants and rabbits and 3 private ponds that we fished out of and it was awesome. I will attach some pictures....

And here is Gage having a fun time at Grandma Toni's while we were gone....
A super fun weekend and a nice Mother's Day, too! We are already planning a trip back to Castle Dale with Cody's Dad. Good Job, Cody! You're the best!
