First Professional Haircut

Today Gage got his first professional haircut. This was not the first time that he has had it cut, but unfortunately his Daddy is out of town and couldn't do it this time. He did a really good job last time. Anyway, I was so nervous that he was going to freak out and the lady would cut his head with the clippers or something! To my surprise he did really great! He did burp really loud once and made the girl cutting his hair giggle..... I guess if that's the most embarrassing thing he does in public, I'll be alright. I got it cut because I wanted to get pictures for his first birthday. Everything was going as planned until the gal cutting his hair gave him a BLUE lolly-pop. Can you believe it? I couldn't do anything. I just sat there staring at his tongue and lips getting more and more blue. All the time knowing that we were about to go have his pictures taken. Just as soon as we left I grabbed the sucker so fast and chucked it! Which made Gage cry, but luckily he is easily distracted. I gave him his bottle full of water and thank heavens the blue did not stay. The pictures turned out pretty cute, too. We got them done at JCPENNY because I thought that it would be cheaper than Kiddie Kandids. Well, it's NOT! And, they don't even give you a disc and let you print the pictures yourself like Kiddie Kandids does. They were cute pictures, but next time I will do more research before going somewhere new. I'll post the pictures as soon as I get them...
